Unwanted Items Left In Loot Containers
« on: June 25, 2019, 09:59:42 pm »
HI all,

First of all, if you ever see me whirly birding in circles around your base in my gyrocopter... don't worry! I am only admiring your building skills!

So lately, I have been finding lots of left behind items in loot containers. I would like to kindly put out a request to everyone to not leave behind unwanted loot items. Please, just drop unwanted items onto the ground. The issue is that left behind items, in looted containers, prevents those containers from respawning new loot. Nothing like fighting your way into a POI, only to find left behind tin cans!

Thanks,

June

While I agree with you that it is annoying, it doesn't actually prevent the spawn of new items, it just puts it in queue.   Meaning, if you pull out all the junk left behind and close the container, it will become an unopened container in seconds with fresh new loot.

after emptying all you have to do is look away then right back at it that should make it loot able as long as the required respawn time has passed since it was first opened

Yeah, I have noticed that it is quite fast at times. Haha... as often as I have played this game I can't believe I hadn't noticed this behavior before!
