How to spot fertilizer in a Burnt Biome.
« on: August 10, 2017, 12:58:04 pm »
<This is a re-post due to dead photo links.  :-* >

Hello, the other day someone was asking about fertilizer taking 20 min+ just to make one. He/she was told about finding fertilizer in burnt biome. This person was given a lot of tips on what to look for by a few players.  Last night I needed some nitrate for antibiotics while I went to a burnt biome I also kept my eyes peeled for fertilizer took some pics to help anyone wondering.

==========================================

This pic you can see the confusion the red circle is what you are looking to dig up. The yellow shows what you don't want. If you dig and you get rocks and sand its not the correct block. What you want to see is dirt and or fertilizer.

From what I read on other forums its a 1 in 3 chance on block destruction that you will get fertilizer.

This has no fertilizer, just sand and rocks.

Keep you eye on the brightest white with brown (not black) next to it.

This may be just coincidence but I find fertilizer under tighter groups of smaller trees and grasses.

The size of plots you find varies, I've seen them as small as 1x1  and others link in this pic 2x4

I hope this helps someone ( I know most of you don't need this info. ) -Will

Thank you.  Hell I didn't even know you could get fertilizer any way besides making it.  Now I don't have to butcher up a billion zombies.
