First off, for the youngsters, the quote in the subject is a reference to an "old" movie.
Second, just wanted to pop in and see what was and has been up in the Forum. Good to see many are still around. You even appear to still be playing. :o
A few weeks ago I went on a self imposed hiatus. Mostly to help retain my interest in the game. Approaching the 300 hour mark at that point, so I needed a "break". I must advise, for anyone finding their interest dropping - stay away for a bit and play something else. I am looking forward now to dropping back in. ESPECIALLY with the announcement from The Pimps that we may get random gen as soon as 8/8. Whole new game as far as I am concerned and very excited as it fits my love of exploration.
I am on vacation after today and won't return until 8/11. So hopefully they are able to deploy by then.
I look forward to seeing you all in the wide open world! Will be interesting to see how they will "keep" players interacting. Thought I saw something about a centralized "town". My interpretation of that was perhaps a "higher area" of loot so that people either frequent the area or build "near" it. Within "travel" distance but still far enough away as to not ruin the random gen aspect.
Regardless, very excited for this "game changer", along with all the other updates forthcoming.
